words to describe our BearTrek® 2.0 gps map of the
The map retains the accuracy of the version 1.0
but also adds:
1. A PC version at the detailed scale
1:15.000 ca. which can be loaded into the most popular GPS software such as CompeGPS, OziExplorer and others.
2. the
possibility to easily navigate to hundreds of important
points such as start/end of track, drinking water, summits,
etc. Such points are now categorized POI into your GPS unit, which you can look
for and navigate to. In some cases, POI also come with geo-tagged photos which
you can navigate to with the newest Garmin units like Oregon 450(t) and Oregon
550(t) and the GPS MAP62 units.
3. BearTrek® 2.0 now
includes all Park official trails and others.
Park official trails are either red (which means
they are very accurate since they are derived from our GPS tracks) or blue coloured (which means they are not accurate
since they are derived from the available cartographic sources). The remaining
trails are orange coloured (which means they
are very accurate, but they are not currently included in the most recent Park
trails network).
